Intensive Course in Performative Therapeutic Communication

Organizer: Elisa Balbi

The Intensive Course in Performative Therapeutic Communication is the first advanced training course in strategic communication applied to clinical practice. Aimed at psychotherapists, psychologists, doctors, and psychiatrists, the program is designed to build a professional communication style that amplifies the therapeutic power of the intervention, improves the alliance with the patient, and fosters change in a rapid, targeted, and strategic way. Through targeted exercises and concrete clinical applications, each participant will be guided to structure a personal and flexible communication style. The program consists of 7 training days for a total of 56 hours of specialist training, featuring internationally renowned faculty in the field of Brief Strategic Therapy, led by Professor Giorgio Nardone. As coordinator and teacher, I strongly advocated for this course, believing it to be not only an opportunity to refine and develop strategic clinical communication skills, but also a means to integrate therapeutic efficacy, communicative precision, and the personal-professional growth of each student.
